
We have a number of daytime retreats this autumn with various themes, led by the Sisters. In between addresses you can find a comfortable place to sit and be in the house or garden.
Each retreat concludes with a short time of worship.
Refreshments are available throughout the retreat for you to help yourselves.
Places are limited per session, so please book in advance.
There is no charge but donations are accepted.
Exploring Forgiveness in the Gospels
Forgiveness can seem complex and, at times, daunting and impossible. During these retreats we will explore stories and parables in the Gospels, to look at what Jesus showed us about forgiveness.

During this retreat we will think about this famous painting by William Holman Hunt and how it may speak to us about our relationship with Jesus.

Margery Kempe
Margery is one of Norfolk’s medieval mystics, born in the 15th century in King’s Lynn. The ‘Book of Margery Kempe’ is widely known as the first English autobiography. Margery recorded her visit to Julian of Norwich’s cell whereby she sought spiritual counsel. She is also known for sobbing uncontrollably and for travelling around the world on spiritual pilgrimages.
Margery Kempe’s life is celebrated in the Church on 9th November.
This retreat will explore the life of this amazing woman and what we can learn from her for our lives today.

During this retreat we will explore prayer, what prayer means in our everyday lives and how each of us feel called to pray.
