‘Love came down at Christmas’
This year our Advent Retreats will be on the theme
‘Love Came Down At Christmas’
This is a short poem written by Christina Rossetti (1830–1894). The poem has been used as the basis of a Christmas Carol and a former Sister of Bethany, Sister Maryan, composed a simple tune which has been used by the Community for many years.
The words of the poem speak of God’s love in Jesus coming to be with and this will form the basis of the retreat addresses by the Sisters.
The same retreat will be held on each of the four dates.

Saturday 12th December 1pm – 3.30pm

Advent Quiet Days
If you would like to come and enjoy a time of quietness at what can feel like a busy time of year, please book onto one of our Advent Quiet Days.
You are welcome to join the Sisters for midday worship.
You are also welcome to join the Sisters for lunch, or feel free to bring your own.
Refreshments are available for you to help yourself to throughout the day.
Feel free to come for just a couple of hours or the whole day.
