We offer a variety of morning or afternoon retreats throughout the year on various biblical and Christian themes.
The retreats are led by the Sisters who offer reflections to guide you into short periods of silence where you can spend time in the house or garden.
There is no requirement to share anything with the group during your time of retreat. It is just a time for you to listen to addresses by the Sisters and enjoy some time of quiet reflection.
There is a maximum of 6 people per retreat session.
Refreshments are available throughout the retreat for you to help yourselves.
There is no charge, but donations are accepted.

Programme of Daytime Retreats
July – September 2026
Saturday 11th July – 1pm – 3.30pm
How do you hear God’s voice?
This retreat will explore how we recognise and hear God’s voice. This is different for each of us and the retreat will give a time to explore the significance of this in our lives, work and/or ministries.
Wednesday 15th July – 10am – 12.30pm
Mary Magdalene
During this retreat we will explore Mary Magdalene’s discipleship and witness of Christ’s life and resurrection. Mary Magdalene is known as the Apostle to the Apostles and we will think about how that may speak to us today.
We will conclude the retreat with a time of worship to celebrate her life and ministry.
Saturday 8th August – 1pm – 3.30pm
St Clare of Assisi
Clare of Assisi was one of the first followers of St Francis and founded the first female Franciscan Order (The Poor Clares). She is also the first woman in history to write a monastic rule.
We will reflect on St Clare’s life and ministry and what we can learn from her.
Wednesday 26th August – 10am – 12.30pm
Discerning God’s call to you
The Sisters will guide a time of retreat exploring the theme of discernment; how we know and understand God’s call to us, not just within a formal ministry but for any vocation, including parenting and caring. This is an opportunity for you to reflect on your own unique calling, who you are in God.
Saturday 12th September – 1pm – 3.30pm
Gifting
Using the story in the Old Testament of Joseph, we will look at the theme of gifting, exploring how we know our own gifts from God and how we understand our gifting.
